CARDEX BACKGROUND
Delcatty freely chooses when to eat, sleep and move on. It has no permanent nest and may settle almost anywhere after thoroughly grooming its fur. If another Pokémon disturbs its sleep, it prefers to move rather than fight. This life without a fixed schedule or place contrasts with the care it gives its appearance. The Pokédex presents an elegant traveller chiefly seeking comfort.
Background on the species in the video games; its forms and card versions may have appeared later.Pokémon Alpha Sapphire states that Delcatty simply leaves a place when its sleep is disturbed, without responding to provocation. Pokémon Omega Ruby describes its meals and naps as following no fixed rhythm. This independence explains why it builds no lasting nest.
