CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

At nightfall, Swanna gather to dance. The one at the center of the troupe becomes its leader. This grace hides great endurance: its wings can carry it thousands of kilometers. If an opponent approaches, it folds its long neck to launch a series of painful pecks. The Pokédex thus shows a bird whose dance, travel and defense demand very different movements.

A detail worth noticing

Pokémon Black identifies the Swanna at the center of the nighttime dance as the group's leader. Pokémon X credits its wings with the ability to travel thousands of kilometers. Its authority in the troupe rests on a dance scene rather than a described battle.
