CARDEX BACKGROUND

The story behind this Trainer card

Friends in Sinnoh draws three cards. This gain adds to your existing hand rather than replacing its contents with a new hand limited to three cards. The effect does not require showing the cards or choosing one to discard afterward. Its quantity does not depend on the opponent's hand either.

Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.

A detail worth noticing

The three cards are not chosen from a preview of the deck's top cards. The text directly specifies drawing without allowing you to reject inspected cards in favour of resources farther down.
