CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Drowzee watches sleepers to feed on their dreams. It prefers pleasant dreams and often leaves nightmares alone because it dislikes their taste. Near amusement parks, it is said to wait for nights when children dream after a happy day. With a friend, it can even share dreams it has already devoured. The Pokédex thus presents a creature whose food remains invisible, but whose choices reveal very specific preferences.

A detail worth noticing

Pokémon Ultra Moon compares nightmares with a sour flavour that Drowzee avoids. Pokémon X adds that consuming too many can give it indigestion. Its ability to eat dreams therefore does not mean that all dreams suit it.
