CARDEX BACKGROUND
The story behind this Trainer card
Scorched Earth lets each player, once during their own turn, discard a Fire or Fighting Energy card from their hand to draw two cards. The Stadium turns a resource of an eligible type into a partial refresh of the hand. This option is shared by both players and remains optional during each of their turns.
Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.A detail worth noticing
The Energy must come from the hand; the player does not remove a card attached to a Pokémon to pay this cost. Water Energy or another unlisted type does not meet the described requirement.
