CARDEX BACKGROUND

The story behind this Trainer card

Metal Core Barrier reduces damage from opposing attacks to its Metal-type holder by seventy after Weakness and Resistance. Its protection is temporary, however: the card must be discarded at the end of the opponent's turn when attached to one of your Pokémon. The Tool combines substantial reduction with a limited duration without healing existing damage.

A detail worth noticing

Metal Core Barrier is discarded at the opponent's turn end even if no attack benefited from its reduction. The defensive benefit requires a Metal-type holder and applies after Weakness and Resistance.
