CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Victini possesses energy that seems never to run out. People and Pokémon that touch its body can receive some of it. This ability accompanies an extraordinary reputation: Trainers who have it at their side are said to always win, whatever the battle. The Pokédex reports this belief without describing a particular victory. Between energy passed on through touch and the promise of success, Victini appears as a companion credited with exceptional power in these accounts.

A detail worth noticing

Victini's energy seems inexhaustible, and those who touch its body can receive some of it. Pokémon White and Pokémon Y describe this transfer through contact. This detail helps explain its reputation as a bringer of good fortune: according to these entries, its presence can strengthen a companion through a simple touch.
