The Pokémon’s story

Meganium releases a fragrance from its petals that calms minds and reduces aggression around it. In battle, it can use this scent to soothe an opponent rather than immediately strike. Its breath is also described as able to restore vigor to wilted plants. The Pokédex thus presents a Pokémon whose influence on others travels through the air it releases, in peaceful encounters and confrontations alike.
