CARDEX BACKGROUND

The story behind this Trainer card

PlusPower adds ten damage to your Pokémon's attacks against the Active Pokémon during this turn, before Weakness and Resistance. The Item prepares an increase tied to attack damage without directly placing counters on a target. This older wording refers to the Active Pokémon without adding opposing. Its scope should therefore be read as printed rather than replaced with that of another effect.

Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.

A detail worth noticing

PlusPower specifies a temporary ten-damage bonus calculated before Weakness and Resistance. The cited text does not say only the opponent's Active Pokémon. That wording distinction should be preserved, especially when an attack also affects the player's own Pokémon.
