Pokopia: Halloween at your own pace
Pumpkaboo has arrived in Pokémon Pokopia. The Halloween event ends on November 1 at 4:59 a.m. local time: a reason to decorate your world, without turning a seasonal celebration into daily homework.

A visit already underway
Pumpkaboo’s Sweet Surprises runs from October 17 to November 1, 2026 at 4:59 a.m. local time. Pokémon announced it on September 30. This is an ongoing event, not an announcement made today. Official Pokémon overview.
You collect pumpkin candy by disguising yourself as objects and surprising Pokémon, then exchange it for furniture and decorations. Event items can also help create a habitat for Gourgeist. Pokémon you befriend during the event remain afterwards.
Check access before looking for Pumpkaboo
Nintendo’s event notice requires version 2.0.1, a rebuilt Pokémon Center and the move Camouflage, learned from Zorua in Bleak Beach. Keep the system date aligned with the real date and connect to the internet when starting the event for the first time.
For a newcomer, those requirements matter more than a reward checklist. Do not plan a five-minute visit on the assumption that everything will already be available. Check your progress, then decide whether this detour fits the kind of session you want.
Our view: decorate for yourself
The strongest reason to join is the chance to make your town feel more personal. One decoration you genuinely want to place can be worth more than a complete collection that stays unused. Before chasing every exchange, pick a space to decorate: an entrance, a garden or a little festive corner.
A deadline is useful information, not a reason to feel guilty. We would rather present this as an invitation to return than a list of urgent chores. Enjoy the atmosphere if it appeals to you. If you would rather spend the evening elsewhere, leisure remains a choice.
LODEX has not played this event for a review. The details above were checked against Pokémon and Nintendo information on October 20, 2026. The accompanying image is an editorial illustration, not an in-game screenshot.
